This framework establishes the ministry’s vision for engagement and reinforces our desire to continue to improve our engagement with stakeholders.

The ministry can move towards achieving the framework’s vision by using the three goals to drive strategic decision-making and when planning and executing individual engagements. Strengthening the engagement experience for stakeholders and the ministry, expanding the reach of our engagement, and improving our responsiveness will help the ministry achieve better outcomes in the workplace.

The three goals will be supported by:

  • Strengthening application of the MOL engagement principles,
  • New skills, supports and continuous learning to enhance engagement proficiencies, and
  • Improving internal coordination and communication practices

It is hoped the framework will provide a strong foundation for our future relationship with all of the ministry’s stakeholders.
