Subscribe to a Podcast
You will need podcast software like
Juice or Doppler. Copy the show's
RSS feed by right-clicking on the link and copying the URL that appears. Paste that
URL into the software's add podcast area. When new episodes are posted, you will receive them automatically! You may want to read the software’s Help, to learn more about how to use it.
Download Individual Podcast Episodes
For PC users:
Right click on the download link.
Choose "Save target as" or "Save link as" and pick a location on your computer to download the podcast.
For Mac users:
Click on the download link and follow the prompts.
Once downloaded to your computer, you can listen to it or you can transfer the podcast to your personal device (smartphone, MP3 player etc.) to listen to it anywhere at your convenience.
Listen to a Podcast
You will need a media player like
Windows Media Player or iTunes. Make sure the volume control is set properly on your computer/speakers or personal device. Listen to a ‘streamed’ podcast episode
This means you haven’t subscribed or actually downloaded the file to your computer or personal device.
Listen to a downloaded podcast episode (or audio file)
Browse to the location where you saved the episode.
Double click on the episode and it should play in your selected media player.
