Collective Bargaining Information Services collects, analyses and distributes information on the province's collective bargaining relationships.

Services focus on labour relations activity in Ontario and include the provision of comprehensive information on small, medium and large-sized workplaces.

What services are available?

Monthly and annual publications on:

• collective bargaining trends
• recent settlements
• wage developments
• work stoppages
• upcoming bargaining

You can file a Collective Bargaining Agreement by emailing the ministry at cbis@ontario.ca. Please include the following:

• Date of ratification
• Number of employees covered by the collective agreement

Customized computer extracts can be tailored to specific sectors, industries or regions on a variety of subjects including:

• wage and benefit trends
• contract provisions
• outcomes of the bargaining process
• selected industries or unions

The province's 11,500 collective agreements are on file in the Ministry's Toronto office which is open to the public. Copies may also be ordered by telephone, mail or fax. The collection is accessible by:

Are there any costs?

HST will be added to all charges. Documents can be sent by courier at cost.

Payment Method

Payment can be made by credit card or debit card. Email is not a secure medium and should not be used for such transactions.
