6. Fourth Quarter 2007 Summary

During the fourth quarter of 2007, 41 collective agreements were ratified, each covering 200 or more Ontario employees. These agreements covered 36,392 employees, 83% of whom were in the public sector (Table 1). By industry, the majority of employees affected were in local government (13,647), followed by federal government (11,531), and education & related services (2,703) (Table 3).
