Police Association (1,810 uniform and 700 civilian employees)
two, four-year renewal agreements, effective January 1, 2007, expiring December 31, 2010
- wage increases of 3.21% in the first year, 3.19% in the second year, 3.12%
in the third year, and 3.25% in the final year, with special adjustments for
eligible employees
- increases in clothing and uniforms allowances, investigative and shift
premiums, and vacation leave for eligible employees
- improvements to health care and retirement benefits, income replacement
plans, and various leaves of absence for eligible employees
- new Letters of Understanding re: prior police service outside Canada for
purposes of vacation entitlement
The City of Ottawa and Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local
503 (5,800 employees)
a four-year year renewal agreement incorporating items settled prior to voluntary
arbitration and issues settled by interim and final voluntary arbitration
awards, effective January 1, 2005, expiring December 31, 2008
- wage increases include 3% in each of the first three years, and 3.25% in
the final year
- increases in tools, mileage, and protective footwear and clothing allowances
- improvements to shift and overtime premiums, and vacation leave for eligible
employees
- improvements to health care benefits, income protection plan, and various
leaves of absence for eligible employees
The City of Ottawa and Civic Institute of Professional Personnel
(1,450 employees)
a two-year renewal agreement, effective January 1, 2007, expiring December
31, 2008
- wage increases include 3% in each year
- increases in mileage and protective footwear allowances
- improvements to shift differential, responsibility, replacement, on-call
and call back premiums, and vacation leave for eligible employees
- improvements to health care benefits, and various leaves of absence for
eligible employees
