Beware Heat Stress

The hot season will soon be upon us--protect yourself from heat stress and heat-related illness at work.

Heat stress can happen when hot, humid conditions and physical activity overcomes your body’s natural cooling system. You might suffer cramps and fainting, or even serious heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Heat stroke can kill quickly.

Industrial, Construction, Mining and Healthcare are some of the sectors at risk for heat stress. See below and watch these pages in coming weeks for more information so that you can keep yourself and all employees safe.

Resources

Stay cool! Drink plenty of liquids. Be safe!
