Conveyor or crusher incidents can cause serious injuries or even death.

Worker Responsibilities:

1. Be aware and follow your responsibilities
2. Use adequate guarding and safety devices
3. Follow lockout procedures for machinery with moving parts
4. Wear required protective gear, including hard hats and safety glasses

Employer Responsibilities:

1. Provide adequate guarding and safety devices
2. Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment
3. Provide adequate supervision
4. Provide required training to workers and supervisors

To report incidents, critical injuries or fatalities, call the Ministry of Labour at 1-877-202-0008. In an emergency, always call 911 immediately.
