Minimum Wage Advisory Panel

The Ontario government appointed an advisory panel to give advice on the province’s minimum wage.

The advisory panel examined Ontario’s current approach to setting the minimum wage and provided advice on how the province should determine changes to the minimum wage in the future.

The panel included a diverse group of representatives including business, worker, labour and youth.

The panel has submitted its report, it is now available to the public.

Addressing the minimum wage is a key part of the Ontario government’s strategy to build a stronger economy, a more prosperous province and help the most vulnerable.
