The ministry is hiring Health and Safety Program staff to work across the province:

  • 12 permanent Industrial Occupational Health and Safety Inspector positions: 1-London, 2-Hamilton, 3-North York, 2-Mississauga, 1-Newmarket, 1-Thunder Bay, 1-Sudbury, and 1-Ottawa

This is your chance to be a part of an exciting new initiative for the provincial government! Join the Ministry of Labour enforcement team to help protect workers under the new workplace harassment provisions in support of Bill 132: Sexual Violence and Harassment Action Plan Act (Supporting Survivors and Challenging Sexual Violence and Harassment). Bill 132 is part of the Government of Ontario’s It’s Never Okay Action Plan to stop sexual violence and harassment.

This is a unique opportunity to join an inaugural team enforcing new workplace harassment provisions under the Occupational Health and Safety Act. If you are interested in making a positive impact in the lives of Ontario workers, we want to hear from you!

Successful candidates will undergo extensive training consisting of both classroom and field work.
