Advice from stakeholders is vital to the success of Safe At Work Ontario in dealing with sector hazards and improving the health and safety culture of our workplaces.
In January 2010, the ministry held five Safe At Work Ontario strategy meetings. Sixty-seven individuals attended, representing 49 stakeholder groups (employers, labour, industrial and construction specialists, and others).
In 2011, stakeholder consultations take place during January and February.
